Across technical and leadership roles, she has worked to translate complex security challenges into decisions that strengthen organizations and the people they serve.
Her multidisciplinary foundation spans advanced study and more than 40 professional certifications across cybersecurity, technology, digital forensics, risk, infrastructure, and leadership. The Journey
Against All Odds
Dr. Suggs advanced through cybersecurity by learning the work from multiple vantage points—engineer, administrator, coder, architect, auditor, consultant, manager, educator, and leader. That range created a practical understanding of both technology and the decisions surrounding it.
The path was not defined by expertise alone. It required resilience through adversity, confidence in spaces where barriers remained, and the willingness to keep building when the easier choice would have been to step back.
